The service

ProtractorTool provides a browser-based protractor tool for measuring angles on a canvas and on user-supplied images or screenshots. Features may change over time. The service is provided free of charge unless we clearly state otherwise for optional future features.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

No professional warranty

Readings from this online protractor depend on your alignment, image quality, and device. Results are for education, design review, DIY estimation, and similar informal uses. They are not a substitute for licensed surveying, structural engineering, medical goniometry, or calibrated laboratory instruments. See also the Disclaimer.

Intellectual property

Site design, branding, and original text are owned by the ProtractorTool operator or its licensors. You retain rights to images you process locally. You may export PNGs of your own sessions for personal or internal work, subject to third-party rights in the underlying photo.

Third-party names

References to browsers, platforms, or competing tools are for description only. ProtractorTool is not affiliated with Google, Apple, Microsoft, or manufacturers of physical protractors unless explicitly stated.

Availability

We aim for high availability of this static site but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be modified or discontinued.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProtractorTool and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the protractor tool or reliance on displayed angles or scaled lengths.
